Miles Morales can’t sleep.
He tries every night, he really does. His brain won’t let him, it’s as if there’s this invisible force trying to keep him awake. He feels unsafe, on edge, jumpy.
The only thing that helps him is sleeping on the ceiling. Or under his own bed.
The melatonin gummies that his dad has don’t help either, his spider-enhanced metabolism burns right through them. He even tried sleeping pills, and it’s the same result.
But even when he goes and follows his instincts as much as he can, he can’t get more than just a few hours in before he’s awake again. It's been almost two months since he’s had a good night's sleep.
It's not a big deal to Ganke, so when he gets to his dorm in appropriate hours he sleeps like his body wants to. At home, it's a different story.
At home, his parents want him to keep his door creaked open, at home they check up on him while he’s asleep. At home, he can't sleep like he wants to.
The worst thing is, it’s spring break for Visions Academy, so he has to be home for a whole week.In this work, we will see how Miles deals with his sleep deprivation through nesting.

But what happens when,,,Spider-man himself is the mistake? It's something Miles has began to question recently, How do you fix a mistake when you are the true mistake?
By giving up what you did not deserve.
