Miles won in the end – he outwitted Miguel O'Hara and the rest of his Spider-Society. He didn't go to Earth-42 and went back to his own universe. He defeated the Spot, saved his dad, and saved the multiverse, he guessed.
But did Miles Morales really win? Plagued by insecurity, isolation and anxiety, Miles is struggling to find balance and to forgive his friends.
And he's struggling to figure out if he really is the Spider-Man Brooklyn deserves.

Miguel is too far gone.
“Mi-Miguel, please, please, I can't—you have to listen to me. This i-isn't you- I can tell this isn’t you, please—" Miles cries, choking on his tears.
Miguel snarls at him, unsheathed fangs dripping with venom. He removes one hand from Mile’s wrist, only to move it to his neck. His talon pricks the skin, small beads of blood trickling down from each contact point.
The boy lets out a scream, his body writhing under Miguel’s grasp as he sobs.
Miguel only squeezes harder.
The man’s gaze moves from where his own wrist stifles Miles up to the kid’s face.
He looks half dead, covered in a mixture of dried and fresh blood, patches of hair matted by the gore.
His gaze makes its way up to Miles’ eyes. He looks horrified, eyes wide with terror and glossy with fear. Miguel presses his talons in deeper. He wants—needs—to see the life drain from his face, watch the light fade from his eyes.

He needs to get them out of here. Miguel grits his teeth, shaking his grimy hair out of his face, pulling them to him as he trudges on through the wreckage.
This had been his mission. He’s the authority figure here. He’s also dog-tired and ready to drop, but he has four spiderlings clinging to his side and they’re depending on him to get them home safe.
He’ll be damned if he doesn’t follow through.
After an exhausting battle, Miguel is ready to crash— but he needs to make sure his kids are settled first.

Now Miguel is stuck on an alien planet with four children, no medication, zero contact with the outside world, and rapidly thinning patience.
“Mierda,” Miguel decides.
“Yeah,” Miles groans, sprawling out on the floor. “That about sums it up.”
When he’s stranded in an alien universe, Miguel has to keep his spiderkids safe and find a way back home—all while enduring the damning concequences of withdrawal from the drug genetically coded into him.

And when they are in heat, omegas born to clans are sent to the omega heat barracks, where they are bred by Konoha-approved Alphas in the service of their clans.
