This time, Hinata pulls away his hand and looks up. Komaeda isn’t looking back at him, face red like it has been rubbed raw. He is far too open, far too honest, and Hinata keeps pushing through barbed wire with bare hands in the hopes that he’ll find something, that piece of himself that Komaeda keeps hidden, something shaky and stumbling in the light of day.
Komaeda goes missing for a morning. It shouldn't matter. And then it does.
In which Komaeda has the emotional intelligence of roadkill, military bases have more than one use, and absolutely no one is any help at all.

Nagito Komaeda was convinced he was too awful to have a soulmate. When he's gifted one anyway, he quickly becomes adverse to the idea. He hopes if he ignores his soulmate, he'll get annoyed and give up looking. What he doesn't account for is the idea that his soulmate's determined and he'll refuse to give up until he finds him- and, that if does find him, he might actually want him
