CJ's hands ran along the LPs sitting in the box, sifting through the collection until one caught his eye. He pulled it up from the selection and wiped away what little dust had accumulated on it. The cover was interesting and unfamiliar, yet gave him a sense of deja vu. One half black and one half white, with the figure of a man in two halves. They were holding a mask, but the mask had its eyes crossed out and had a static look to it. He turned the LP over in his hands to read the back.
𝐂𝐉'𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦: 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝟐
He raised an eyebrow to himself. That was his name, but he couldn’t remember ever writing such a thing.

Each time the loop repeats itself, Whole forgets the album that was made once they've moved on from it, memories completely wiping of the events of them. All he has are these weird CDs and LP's that keep showing up with his name on them, with songs he doesn't remember ever writing.
They inspire him each time to write a new album, restarting the loops. Once he replays through his albums, he realises how similar and weird they feel. But he doesn't know why.But the owner of the red lipstick that keeps mysteriously appearing on his desk every few months does.
