Bursting in brilliant blues and yellows and streams of white were the most abstract and beautiful and unique buildings he had ever seen. A shimmering dome cut through the air like a bubble, interspersed with rock face and random streams of water falling in graceful arcs that obeyed no law of physics Eijun had been awake enough to learn about in university. Random structures were floating, and a steady hum of activity assaulted his senses. Much further up and in the distance, a tall spiraling spire curled in a graceful climb to the sky, iridescent waves of what Eijun could only describe as an aurora dancing around it.
He gawked at the side of Miyuki’s face, who was grinning down at him from the corner of his eye.
“Welcome to Seido.”
