Summary
Percy had always hated his birthday. As a kid, his mom was typically working on his birthday and Smelly Gabe definitely wasn’t going to do anything for it. That meant he usually spent it alone. He never had a cake, a party, or many gifts. His mom would usually get him some candy from her store and try to get him something with whatever money she could spare. But it was never a happy day for Percy. It was more a reminder of how lonely he felt.
Every year, he was always surprised to find he survived. As a kid, he always assumed that Gabe would kill him sooner or later. As he got a little older, he assumed he would do something to himself. Then there was the prophecy, of course. Overall, Percy was never very excited about his birthday.
OR
Percy is forced to celebrate his birthday. It’s too bad he can’t be forced to be happy.
Title is a quote from April Green (i think, tbh i just found it on pinterest)

Summary
"Superman," Bruce repeats again, a sliver of exasperation crawling into his voice. "You and Wonder Woman need to triage the evacuated civilians. I'll extract the child."
The League had only just shared their civilian identities with each other (Bruce called it part of his "contingency plans"), and Clark still isn't convinced that billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne is actually Gotham's Dark Knight. At the very least, he's partial to Hal's theory that "Bruce Wayne" is an eldritch construct puppeteered by the Bat, and Batman is actually a manifestation of the city of Gotham's darkest corners and alleyways, righting its slow entropy of evildoers with a billion-dollar bow tied neatly on top.
Either way, Clark is pretty sure that neither Batman nor Bruce Wayne are appropriately-equipped to handle a traumatized child.

Summary
Bruce has always kinda known he’s not his kids’ favorite superhero. He’s their dad, he knows that shatters the illusion somewhat for them. They know how hard he works and trains to protect the city, but he’s no Superman. Even Tim has lost his hero worship in the year and a half he’s been with them; groundings and frustrating evenings trying and failing to help with homework will do that. So yeah, he knows he’s not their favorite hero.
Or: the kids get Justice League merch from their favorite superheroes. Inspired by an episode of Batman: Wayne Family Adventures.

Summary
During his silent observation, Batman witnessed as Superman suddenly sat up, eyes searching the room before locking on to the main door.
“Someone’s here.” He interrupted Arthur mid sentence, suspending them in silence.
“What do you mean?” Batman stood slowly, a couple others followed suit as everyone strained their ears to see if they could make out any unusual movement or sounds.
Just then, the metal doors making up the entrance to their conference room hissed and slid open revealing…
“I found him!” A high pitched voice declared.
