Summary
It was no exaggeration to say that the Black brothers were out of their depth.
Sirius Black and Regulus Black are sent from their London life and home to be farmhands on a rural farm in Cornwall, a choice made by their demanding mother in order to straighten them out into the perfect heirs for their nobel family.
What she hadn’t accounted for, however, was the two men on said farm that would show her sons a life of warmth and comfort, far from her cruel reach. A life that would save them.
Only if Sirius and Remus Lupin didn’t murder each other before then, of course.

Summary
“Will Byers?”
Will glances around, as if there is another Will Byers in their vicinity. He manages a small smile. “Yeah, it’s- uh. It’s me.”
Mike rushes forward, and all he can think is holy shit, Will is alive, as he’s throwing his arms around the other boy and tugging him in for a crushing hug. It isn’t until Will is secure, nestled–maybe a bit stiffly–in his arms, that Mike starts crying.
“I thought you were dead,” Mike murmurs, muffled by Will’s jacket. He sniffles. “I thought- we- they told us you were dead.”
Or, Will was never found in S1, but survives in the Upside Down until 1987 due to his powers and connection with Vecna. Cue Mike, an ill-timed trip to the Upside Down, and a lot of feelings.

Summary
He stood up, fast and efficient, and started tugging at Eddie’s hoodie.
Eddie startled. “W-what are you—?”
“I need to see.”
“Rich—no—”
“I said, let me see.”
The command in Richie’s voice made Eddie freeze.
When he hesitated too long, Richie crouched down again, hands warm but firm as he peeled off the layers—hoodie, undershirt, waistband. He didn’t ask permission, not this time. Not when Eddie was already retreating back into himself.
And what Richie found made his blood run molten.
Finger-shaped bruises. Dark blotches across Eddie’s hips and ribs. One ugly one high on his inner thigh, where no one should’ve touched.
Eddie wouldn’t look at him.
“I didn’t want to tell you,” he whispered. “I didn’t want you to think I— That I let her— That I cheated—”
Richie caught his face in both hands, eyes burning.(AKA: Richie will never let eddie go, no matter what he has to do to keep him safe)
