Summary
Following the events of 2077, in which Arasaka was destabilized following the death of Saburo and Yorinobu Arasaka, and the alleged destruction of Mikoshi, another corporate war is on the verge of breaking out as Millitech received a sudden advantage, and sought to move into territory previously occupied by Arasaka.
However, the Moriyama family quickly took hold of the quickly crumbling power structure within Arasaka, rebuilding it with the technology that was thought to be lost following the destruction of Mikoshi: SoulKiller, a shard with the potential to allow life to continue forever, a person's engram being made able to take over the neural network of anyone who had the chip implanted in them.
Neil Josten was used as their test subject with the intention to market him as proof of Arasaka's technological success. Following the upload of his consciousness to a nameless prisoner, however, Neil Josten disappeared.
Five years later, his wiring is malfunctioning, and Neil doesn't have any choice but to return to night city, seeking out a fellow net runner responsible for the code connecting him to the shard in his head.

Summary
Christmas Eve at the Bennetts was always something magical. Not only because of the glimmering lights coming from the Christmas ornaments, a present from Gordo, but from the over powering sense of family, closeness, and remembrance. There was magic in how they all sat together in front of the fire place, wrapped in blankets and sipping whatever was handed to them by Elizabeth. It usually varied between warm cider, and hot cocoa tweaked to the individual’s liking.

Summary
Wymack’s voice trails off, words stuttering to an abrupt stop. All heads turn, slowly following the path of Wymack’s gaze.
Andrew spots him almost immediately - hair as black as night, curls gentle and full atop his head. He’s got a bruise the size of a baseball around his eye, freckles spattered out around it like an explosion of stardust. His eyes are the colour of the sky, cresting with storm clouds.
His hands are in his pockets as he walks by, fisted around something. He doesn’t look at any of them as he passes, eyes downcast.
Andrew’s never seen him before.
“What the hell happened to your face, Neil?” Wymack shouts, voice startling in the aftermath of silence. Neil doesn’t stop, plundering by the team and their coach without a second-glance.

Summary
For the first time in human history, the Heavens intervened in earthly matters to deliver a Divine Decree across the seven seas and seven continents that promised Nigh-Omnipotence for the last living Dragon and Divine Power to the human who controlled it.
The Divine Decree led to calamity for the Dragon species and after a century of Wars pushed the once-almighty creatures to near extinction, only one dragon remained: Nathan, Butcher of Life and Lord of the Skies. He belonged to the Moriyama Dynasty of the Karasu Empire and was under the control of Kengo Moriyama, allowing them to claim what the Heavens pledged.
Or so they would have if Nathan did not have a son hidden from the world.
