Summary
After Vander's death, Jinx is taken in by Silco and becomes his ward. Shimmer Corporations was founded by The Eye of Zuan. Shimmer was manufactured at the facility for many years before production shut down and moved, after the tragic disappearance of The Eye's daughter, Jinx. The large lock on the front gates a telling sign that warded off any unwanted visitors.
All Vi wants to do is find her sister. She gets her chance when a (hot) young enforcer breaks her out of Stillwater.
Caitlyn is convinced that Shimmer CO. is producing an illegal drug and she's demanding justice, even if she has to venture down into the abandoned facility with the most annoying girl she's ever encountered. But as they head deeper, they find there is much more to this mystery than they expected.And what does this all have to do with the mysterious blue-haired girl?

It took a moment for everything to click. How she constantly forgot that she was visibly pregnant to other people was a mystery, but it stood to reason that Ekko didn’t want to feed another man’s pregnant wife and get himself in trouble.
In Powder’s case, the father was a man she’d never met before in a town she’d only ever visited once, under the influence of several mocktails, her ovulation cycle, and a dream to exercise her free will in a normal, twenty-six year old way.
“I don’t have a partner,” she said plainly. “This was an oopsie-daisy after a long week.”

After a quick nap that he doesn’t remember falling asleep for, he only needs another thirty minutes of work before the telephone looks ready to use.
He picks it up and holds it to his ear, the dial tone playing for a couple seconds before, “hello?”
Ekko’s heart stops. He clutches the receiver and pushes it so close to his ear that it digs into the cartilage. “Powder?”
Or, after Vander "dies" and Vi gets sent off to jail and Jinx joins Silco, Ekko is left alone. When he discovers an old phone that connects to someone that might not even be from his universe, he finds himself a little less lonely.
