Midoriya Izuku makes his debut on the national stage not as a competitor at the Sports Festival, but rather as a lost spectator turned announcer alongside his heroes Eraserhead and Present Mic.

  2. Summary

A series of plot bunnies, pilot episodes and one shots that I salvaged from my docs drive and dusted off; stories that I've started that have been tied off into a chapter that can stand on its own, but doesn't necessarily mean that its over.

Please let me know if you want me to continue a plot bunny, or have any feedback! :D

    Summary

    Izuku has plans for everything.

He plans out what to say to the cashier when ordering coffee, he plans out his homework before even opening his textbook. He has a whole ten-year plan for how he’s going to get into UA’s hero course and get his hero license fully quirkless. He plans for every wild, unlikely scenario he can think of because his anxiety gets so bad if he doesn’t go through every possible outcome, every way his life could landslide into disaster–– but Izuku never planned for this.

For once, he doesn’t have a plan and he doesn’t have time to think of one. All he can see is Yagi-san’s lined, kind face looking resigned as he stares down the villain in his shop. Yagi-san, who is the closest thing to a father figure Izuku has ever had.

Izuku doesn’t think. He just moves.

(Or: Izuku saves the number one hero, gets a hero license way earlier than anyone wanted, realizes that maybe hero society isn’t as great as he thought it was, and everything just kind of falls apart from there.)

Hero Intern Deku: Our Next Savior, or the Catalyst of Hero Society’s Downfall?
    By Yumoto Ryobe
    Like • Comment • Share

It’s been a month since Hosu City was rocked with attacks from the newest villain group, the League of Villains, and Hero Intern Deku’s (unranked) takedown of the serial killer Stain, his first S ranked villain arrest. Pro Hero media is a mess of differing opinions on Deku, ranging from idolization to condemnation. Fan clubs and hate clubs alike have popped up online. Despite his rousing speech in Hosu and his call to action, Deku has been notably absent from the public eye in any meaningful way.

With tensions high and no word from the one at the heart of all the chaos, the question must be asked: just what the hell is Hero Intern Deku doing?

    (Honestly? His best.)

    Summary

Izuku is five years old the first time he's saved by heroes. He's an instant fan of the woman in pink with her cheerful smile and the man with his ice powers and fine-boned features, even if they both refuse to tell him their names.

For most of his life, Izuku has been the centre of villain attacks, but he has never been injured. Every time, he's saved by bright, unknown heroes—heroes who smile at Izuku, and ruffle his hair or ply him with hugs, and seem mesmerised by how small he is.

Heroes that the rest of the world doesn't believe exists.

    Summary

The next switch happens during English in the following days. One moment, sixteen-year-old Yaoyorozu is dutifully reciting a passage for the class, and then Momo is there, dressed in a stylish pantsuit and holding a stack of papers, reaching for a phone that isn’t there as her eyes scan the meeting discussion points. Her hand smacks against Shinsou’s arm.

“Ow,” says Shinsou, more out of reflex than any actual pain.

Momo drops the papers. “Not now—I have a meeting in five minutes!”

On a mission, ten or so years into the future, a few members of Class A arrest a villain with a time travel quirk. They switch places with their younger selves one at a time.

    It is very inconvenient.

    Summary

The fact that Yaoyorozu’s skin is bare as far as he can see is only relevant to Izuku for a very specific reason, and that reason is the fact that she has begun to glow. The skin on her stomach is producing brilliant flashes of pink and blue. To a child—even to him, now—they look exactly like sparkles.

Izuku places a hand over the black band on his forearm. Is it possible—

It isn’t just possible. It’s downright guaranteed. There’s no such thing as never meeting your soulmate, assuming you have one in the first place. She is right here in front of him. She is in his class. She is the same age as him. Even if her parents had sparkling skin or a sibling of hers did or even a random person somehow produced the same effect with their Quirk as she did with hers, she is the one.

    It’s unfair. It’s so unfair.

Izuku wants to laugh. He wants to cry. He wants to scream, and shake his fist at the universe, and ask whoever is listening why.
