Summary
This is set in the same time frame as the start of the mighty nein adventures BUT:
Bren never broke and never left the assembly
Lucien survived the attempt to botch his ritual and kept his memoryWarning: this is not a nice fic. Don't go into this thinking that this is going to be nice. I haven't fully settled on an ending, but there's a good chance that it won't be a happy one. These are not nice characters. Both Lucien and Bren are evil or, at the very least, don't bat an eye at evil. This will not be a healthy relationship (consensual but not healthy). If you are looking for joy and happiness, this is not the fic for you.
Update: I settled on an ending and it's not not happy.

Summary
Only recently formed, the Fellowship find themselves at the mercy of ancient spirits of the forest, and Legolas sacrifices more than he intends to help rescue his new friends.
He is tormented by the worst memories that thousands of years of life can create, but Aragorn has no intention of seeing him suffer, and will do everything he can to save him.
