I would have loved more Rolan, Lia, and Cal content in the game, so I wrote some.
Entering The Grove, the adventuring party finds three tiefling siblings arguing. Should they stay, or should they leave? …or this third option in which the story of Baldur's Gate 3 is reimagined to integrate Rolan as a romanceable companion with a happy end.

Summary
After protecting Dimitri from a girl he had flirted with five years ago, Sylvain opts to converse with him to discuss and revisit that moment as an opportunity to bond after recent tragic events to, somewhat uplift the downtrodden reawakened king. Upon reconciliation, unexpected, yet familiar feelings bubble up within Sylvain as he recalled the memory. Feelings he thought he had kept buried deep within his own heart during their academy days.
While Dimitri was mortally embarrassed by such events (as he had made a similar mistake of giving a dagger to a girl he had a crush on), he found quite a bit of humor in it. Yet behind that humor, sparked a tiny, smoldering fire within him. One that he fears, if acted on… could change everything.
What these two never expected was that all they really needed… was each other.
