Summary
“Had you trained harder, you would be champion,” Liu Kang said, giving the younger shaolin a soft smile.
“I am well aware, lord Liu Kang…” Kung Lao replied, unable to return the god’s expression.
Though the comment was simply in passing, his words just wouldn't leave his mind. Over and over again, that sentence repeated in his head, and every time, his brows furrowed even deeper. In an attempt to quell his frustrations by going over the god of fire’s words, the only thing he got out of this was irritation, and indignation.
At dinner, Kung Lao did his best to soften his gaze, but his tightly knit brows, upturned lip, and his stiff grip on his utensils were just about giving him away.
Kung Lao was slumped in his chair, one hand on his forehead, and the other poking at his food with a fork. He was half trying to cover his face, not wanting to be questioned about his mood, but irritability festered in his chest like a disease, a feeling strong enough that he wasn't able to squash it.
Liu Kang’s words filled his thoughts, and where he should have felt respect, he felt spite.

Summary

However, after realizing that their good friend, Kung Lao, was aware of the pair's suppressed feelings, they decide to get back at Kung Lao's constant teasing and meddling by pretending they aren't together. But will trying to hide their relationship only serve to further complicate their feelings?

Kenshi paused, realizing what Johnny was asking before letting out a soft chuckle. "No, never. Liu Kang said it was fate. We’ve talked about this before, Johnny."
Johnny hesitated, a terribly familiar feeling towering over him, "I’m still really sorry about that, Kenshi. You saved my life, and I still don’t know how I can even begin to repay you."
Kenshi turned his head slightly in Johnny’s direction. “It’s not your fault”. There was a quiet warmth in his voice when spoke again. "Johnny, I don't care for my blindness and if it’s fate. As long as we are fate too."

Can you imagine if like Starscream just went wild just like walked up to Megatron be it during the war or post war and just let out everything he ever thought about him all that anger that’s been pent up and buried because of fear for years just out in a single long blast where he refusing to let Megatron speak up until he’s done tired of having to be quiet about how he really feels about things to survive
Can you imagine if I wrote that encounter? - and then I did one of the few old tranformers things I've written that I still like so it gets it's own work.
