Summary
Life on the surface is painfully disappointing - far from how he dreamed it to be. Fame as he fantasized it is elusive, humans are dull and petty, and Mettaton finds himself drifting in a lonely haze, unintentionally distancing himself from family and friends alike.
A glitch in reality offers a reprieve of sorts when it sends him tumbling down into a wonderland beyond his wildest dreams, ruled by a familiar TV, who seems hellbent on keeping him close by... even if it means keeping Mettaton ignorant and distracted by his own fantasies and deepest desires.
Everything seems perfect.
But the longer he stays, the harder it is to navigate through the twisting maze of TV World’s streets and see past Tenna’s glamorous illusions and extravagant gifts in search of a way home.
Mettaton isn’t sure if he even wants to leave anymore, or if the decision is still his own.

Summary
Anthony used to have people scream for him. Maybe not for a display as vulgar as this, but didn’t that prove how much better he was? He didn’t need to parade around a perfect body with ample curves to garner attention like Mettaton did. Anthony used his wit to draw in a crowd, while Mettaton abused the power of long legs, amplified by a dramatic pair of pumps.
He found himself drifting toward the makeshift stage that Mettaton had commandeered. For what reason? His brain didn’t supply an answer to that.
He just.. needed to be closer.
