In some ways, Spencer's decision to leave the BAU built over years. More than half of who he considers family is gone. His fridge is covered with drawings and photos from children who aren't his, watching them grow, and he's been doing the same thing for 17 years. But in the end, it's one case that does him in: a case he could have prevented when he was 25 if only he'd been able to let Nathan Harris die like he wanted. Summary
Keeping secrets in the BAU was hard. They were one of the best profilers in the world, and even better friends. It gets to the point where they’re not even trying to profile someone and they just understand everything about them. It’s second nature.

“How the hell is our Unsub getting the bodies up there anyways?” Morgan asks no one in particular.
“A ladder, maybe.” Spencer replies, looking around the base of the tree.
Prentiss walks up, eyes scanning the branches. “It would have to be a pretty big ladder.”
If Spencer was the Unsub, he wouldn’t need a ladder at all. All he’d need was to not be seen, noticed, as he levitated the bodies up there.
Or: Spencer Reid is a telekinetic, able to control things with his mind. When their Unsub seems to be one too, he has to face two facts. There’s other Telekinetic's out there, and his team is about to find out about it all.

Summary
Tim felt so fucking tired. It didn't matter how much he slept, his eyelids always weighed a thousand pounds and the thought of getting up sometimes seemed impossible. Lately, he’d felt as if there was a constant weight in his chest that only ever went away when pain overpowered it.
He almost considered self harm, but when you're missing a spleen and live in a house full of detectives, you're quick to realize it's a bad idea.
Though… Tim knew, logically, if he truly wanted to, he could get away with it for at least a good while.
OR
Tim has been feeling this dragging weight pulling down on him, as if the earth itself sent orders to drag him down. The worst part? He doesn't remember when he started feeling this way, but he is sure it isn't new.
In which Tim is a smoker & maybe has something working against him.
Basically, watch Tim spiral through daily life.

"He's quoting Frankenstein," Tim muttered, not looking up from his screen, fingers flying across the keyboard. “I got him to read it a while ago."
