You paused.
The revolting smell became stronger, and you soon realized it was coming from the limp, sprawled out body of a creature just a few feet from the dumpster. You would’ve thought it was just another person, what else could have the same, long silhouette of a human? But with the small stream of lamp light that pooled into the alley, you saw a horrible shade of green and purple.

It’s a slow shift at work, just like any other night—when you find a dead body in the alleyway that *as it turns out* is not really all that dead. You think that’s the end of the madness, until he comes back looking for answers and eventually drags you into this whole “oozquitoes” situation (whatever those are). Now you’re stuck figuring out what happened to your missing coworker, all while trying not to strangle the most annoying, egotistical talking turtle you’ve ever met.
