Summary
Newt is forced to return to school after being out due to a leg injury, one that has changed his entire life. He starts to think that nothing will ever go back to the way it was after his attempt, until he gets an offer from the High School's coach, Vince, and Newt starts to think that maybe he has a chance. Well, if it weren't for the insufferable star player, Thomas Greene, who is determined to make Newt's life a living hell if he doesn't quit the team.
It does not go as expected ;)
OR: Thomas and Newt are rivals on the basketball team when Thomas realizes there's a lot more to life than winning a game. Now he has to learn to leave his old life behind in order to move forward.

Summary
Thomas’ gaze drifted to the mirror over the sink. The mirror was a patchwork of cracked shards, the imperfections distorting their reflections into an abstract mosaic. Thomas traced a finger along the fragmented surface.
Their eyes met in the mirror but Newt said nothing, didn't explain what had caused it to look like this.
“It’s just like you,” Thomas said, the words slipping out before he could stop them. Beautiful, he meant to say. “A puzzle,” he said instead.
Newt raised an eyebrow, confusion etched across his face. “A puzzle?”
“Yeah,” Thomas continued, trying to make sense of his own words. “Like it’s made up of so many pieces, each one reflecting just a tiny part of you. Only together do they make the whole picture.”
or: Dance of The Vampires is selected their school's annual Halloween play that year and when Teresa lands one of the leading roles, Thomas, of course, agrees to practice with her, but then everything turns out a little differently and suddenly he finds himself playing Sarah instead. Also somewhere between learning that first impressions can be deceiving and figuring out his own sexuality, he might fall in love with Newt.

“You’ve made me wait too long,” Thomas murmured, kicking the door closed with the heel of his foot. “Now I need you.” Newt let him push his shirt over his head, the two necklaces falling back into place on his bare chest. Thomas hummed at the dull thump against Newt’s collarbones as he ran his hands over the boy’s sides.
“I’m well aware of your sex addiction, Tommy.” Newt chose to accompany the comment with a blank expression as he wrapped his arms around Thomas’s waist. The boy laughed at him, pushing his face into Newt’s neck as he sucked on the tender skin.
“I’m tired of waiting.” Thomas mumbled against his skin, pulling off with a loud pop as the cold feeling that followed made Newt shiver. With a rough hand, Thomas pulled on Newt’s hand, leading him towards his room with a smirk thrown over his shoulder. “Let’s see if you’re still as good as yesterday.”
“Is that even a question?” Newt chuckled, letting himself be pushed onto the bed with his arms pinned over his head.or
