Summary
When Itachi sees Shisui die all his genius leaves him and the only thing he can do is cling to the last person he has left. With the massacre imminent, Itachi steals Sasuke and runs away from Konoha, leaving his clan to die and positioning himself as the parental figure in Sasuke's life - something he comes to realize is much more challenging and brutal than he expected.
(Or: Itachi learns he doesn't know everything, gains a new appreciation for his parents, reflects on his worldview, and tries to keep the walking timebomb that is Uchiha Sasuke alive.)

Sieun is curled up on Suho’s lap— his hand caressing his boyfriend’s cheek, his head burrowed into the crook of Suho’s neck. The exhale of his breath is ticklish and tingling against Suho’s skin as Sieun calls out for him between tipsy sighs and colourful hiccups. “Suh—” Hiccup. “Suho-yaa...”
Sieun is tipsy and his greed is biblical.

Suho doesn’t survive the coma after Sieun wakes from his. Devastated, Sieun tries to take his own life. He wakes up a year ago, on the day of the mid-terms in Byuksan High—the day he’s supposed to be drugged by Beomseok. If it means never coming close to Suho to save him from his fate, Sieun will do it. He avoids violence at all cost this time, and he avoids Suho. The thing is, the harder Sieun pushes, the harder Suho pulls. Or perhaps, they were always meant to be drawn to each other, to a certain end.
