Vox snorted softly, one hand resting under his boxy screen while the other lightly spun his drink. Alastor glanced over from where he was resting on the edge of the roof, one eyebrow raised. “Whatever is it now, darling? Another secret you were reminded of?” Vox shook his head as he closed the program.
“Nah, just something Vel said. She threatened to fight you if you ditched me while I’m drunk again.”
“The doll?” Alastor’s expression was a mix between confused and insulted. “Dear, does she really think she can take me on?” Vox laughed softly again, shifting so that he was next to Alastor.
”Probably. It is Vel we’re talking about. Bitch bosses me around 24/7. I think she’d fight you.”
(Or, Vox and Alastor meet up for drinks. At least, until Alastor’s boss calls.)
