“The livestream isn’t about me!” Rin threw one pillow at the back of his head, but Ryusei showed no reaction and kept his model-like pose before the camera. “Focus, antenna head!”
“See how combative our unsociable little cat gets when I’m around?“
“I’ll leave if you don’t start what you dragged me here for,” Rin threatened from the couch, curled up on himself like a grumpy kitten.

It all started when the second selection had begun, with all his days confined in this pentagon prison, that honestly felt like months now. Rin was still just a healthy young boy who needed his urges to be fulfilled– the urge was more than just to strike goals and win each match he fought.
The other boy probably had noticed Rin’s eyes down there, and in return scanned his eyes up and down, thick blonde lashes fluttered, checking him out and letting out a smug smile.
“Like whatcha see?” The boy stuck out his tongue, he had such a punchable face.

The crowd is at the edge of their seats, and the other team members are holding their breath. Rin looks at Shidou with unmoving eyes, and Shidou looks back at him with the look of a man who knows Rin’s going to say yes. To the two of them, they’re the only ones in the entire stadium, that’s how it always is. They’re the only two players on the field, the only two members, they are the only one the other sees, and now is no different.
“Marrying me in front of such a crowd to make sure I say yes, how lukewarm.”

Ryusei was about to investigate the reason for Rin’s odd presence in this rather mundane place, the cafeteria, but abstained when he saw Rin’s rosy-but-cruel mouth move to, undoubtedly, drop another of his infamous powder kegs onto their table. Instead of mean things, mean words, and meaner lower lashes darted at them like needles, however, Rin declared, like a commander declared war, and Rin was no commander, he was no lord either, but merely a spoiled prince gone rogue, “I need you to fuck me.”
At that very moment, when the power keg blew up onto their faces, a few things happened at once: Tabito spat out the water he was drinking, right on their cards and everyone’s shirts; Oliver choked on a laugh that was, indeed, full of shock; and Ryusei almost fell off his chair, too thunderstruck by the abnormality of Rin’s words to keep himself upright.
