Summary
Seventeen-year-old Heather Potter, isolated and on the run during the Horcrux hunt, discovers she herself is a Horcrux. Desperate to remove the soul fragment without dying, she retreats to Grimmauld Place and unearths an ancient Black family ritual book. She finds a ritual to summon a High Fae, creatures she knows are dangerous but bound by strict rules regarding deals. Summary
Hemlock Potter, a powerful witch from another world, transports herself, her godson Teddy, and her house-elf Kreacher to Middle-earth to rescue Maeglin, the elven smith she loves. She finds him tortured and broken in Angband, frees him, and heals him. During their perilous escape through Dimbar, they marry and Maeglin accepts Teddy as his son.
