“Don’t move.” Jason whispers. “If we don’t move he won’t see us.”
Tim scrunches his nose. “That’s for a T-rex and it’s a lie. They could very well kill you even then.”
“You are shitting on my hopes and dreams, Replacement.”
“I’m not. I’m just saying —”
“Todd.” Damian calls, effectively shutting them both up, and when he gets no answer from Jason, he whimpers a sad and soft, “Drake.”
“I can't believe I'm saying this but he’s breaking my heart, dude.”
“No, don’t you dare to give in. It’s a trap,” Jason says. “It’s gotta be a trap —”
They lose both the battle and the war when Damian stops waiting for them and instead stumbles forward, almost drunkenly, and unceremoniously flops himself on Jason, full-on crying against his stomach.
“Jesus fuck, Babybat.” Jason exhales in one breath. “Alright, who do I have to kill?”
"Jason!"
(Or the one where Jason and Tim come to the Manor after a long night of patrol and they find weird new kind of life form out of this world that cries with snot and all inside the Manor's grounds. It takes them some time, because they are both dumbasses, to convince themselves that's actually their little brother crying his eyes out.)

Summary
While hummingbirds can be devoted to their family, particularly their young, they are known to be both highly aggressive and anti-social. They are the only birds able to fly backwards and even upside down.
Tim's mission has never been the same as the rest of the Bats. He knows he doesn't fight for justice, or peace, or control, or proving something. He doesn't have Dick's goodwill or Damians need to prove something. He doesn't have Jason's connection or Oracle's duty. Hell, he doesn't even have Bruce's own mission in mind when he fights. He fights because he protects what is his, and he has dug his claws into this family. Except, maybe he's not theirs anymore, maybe he never was.
Or: Tim realizes he's lost everything he has never had, then gets sucked 20 years into the past by the creepy old guy and decides to pull everything together, including himelf.

Summary
Ambitious like his father, the media preached as Timothy saved DI from collapse. Clever like his mother, they wrote as Timothy bought up small seemingly unprofitable industries and made them bloom under his company’s care, bringing DI’s stocks back to their former glory within a year. A true son of Gotham, they said as Timothy developed his offices in the city and went above and beyond to pay his workers fair wages. Selfless, they called him as Timothy reduced his own salary to ensure DI would survive these changes, sacrificing his time and dreams to keep the company afloat. Tragic, they all but wrote in every article, unable to keep themselves from rehashing his parents’ deaths.
At only 19, Tim is one of the youngest CEOs in the world. He’s certainly the youngest CEO of a fortune 200 company.
And yet, it takes little to make his empire collapse like a house of cards.

Wifies blinked. "…but we're both banned?" he replied. How could they join if they were both dead?
"Our accounts are banned, dude," Dean explained, and Wifies' eyes widened in realization. "So let's just make another one. They're lowkey cheap anyways."
