With multiversal stuff going on, Steve returning, variants, blah blah blah happening, Jack and Danny are having a tough time coping with the changes and their relationship. They're spending some time under the radar in a secret library reading about multiverse- time travel-depression-etc. They're pouring multiple cups of coffee in due to stress, Jack feels upset. Daniel cracks a joke about them to Angie(who's not in the scene, but she is the one who served the coffee) knowing that it would cheer up Jack.
