Summary
Condemned to a life of eternal confinement within the Digital Circus, Pomni falls into a vicious cyle of anger, bitterness, and depression. Dark clouds swirl all around. AUTHOR'S NOTE, 08/10/2025: Hey everyone! This story is not dead! A lot is happening in my life at the moment. I found a wonderful life partner that I want to build a future with, and that involves working my butt off to earn qualifications for a better job. I think about this story every day and desperately want to finish it, but right now I am simply unable to dedicate the same amout of time and effort as I was before. A time will come someday (probably mid 2026) when I will finally have the free time to sit down to write the final two chapters. For now, please be patient! I miss writing this as much as you miss reading it. :)

The silhouette of the large manta ray cast a small patch of shade down between the two, where curled up on the dusty ground was an Octarian soldier. Though to call it a ‘soldier’ was perhaps taking it a little too far considering the shape the poor figure seemed to be in. Gear busted beyond use, forming bruises and cuts littering any sickly pale skin that showed. Simply put, whoever this was it was safe to say they hadn’t won whatever fight had broken out.
