Ryou hat einen guten Job, ein geregeltes Einkommen und vor allem keinen launischen Mitbewohner mehr, dessen Stimmungsschwankungen mitunter in Gewalt ausarten können.
Er war immer der Normalere von ihnen beiden, und dementsprechend ist auch sein Leben normal. Und sicher.Es geht ihm gut.
Er vermisst nichts.
Um etwas vermissen zu können, muss man schließlich erst einmal wissen, wie es sich anfühlen würde, es zu haben.Doch dann taucht nicht nur jemand, den er inzwischen schon tot geglaubt hatte wieder auf, sondern dieser Jemand scheint sich außerdem inzwischen ebenfalls auf die Idee eines "normalen Lebens" eingelassen zu haben.
Dabei gibt es kaum eine Person, der Ryou so etwas weniger zugetraut hätte als ihm.
Ausgerechnet ihm!Waren sie sich am Ende doch ähnlicher als er es wahr haben wollte?

Chester's brain obviously drew a line when it came to his boyfriend getting himself beaten up and hate-fucked by their drummer (and being shitty at pretending to not have loved it), the band breaking up over it, a lot of whiskey, and the shock of a car crash – all within less than 24 hours.
And Mike was thankful for that.

There was only so much time left to finally do all the dumb things he didn't allow himself a decade ago when they still had to prove themselves as the clean and put-together band they decided they wanted to be - or later when one of his best friends turned out to be an addict who really didn't need any additional encouragement to fuck himself up for good.
Thankfully, they were past this now.
So here he was, in another city, another nightclub not too far from their hotel, this time with an oldfashioned pill with a happy smiley face on it on his tongue.
- A little fun story about Mike experimenting with drugs, the heterosexuality of his bandmates and his wife's patience.

Talinda takes a look around and when she's sure no one is looking, she slaps him right in the face.
The loud smacking noise has a few people turn their heads, but most of them agree with her and therefor refrain from intervening. Even Anna just frowns.
And Mike, he only freezes for a moment before he slowly puts up his hand to his aching cheek. And then he's back to gesturing for that champagne bottle and only stops when Talinda gets a hold of it and pours each of them a glass.

A kiss on the cheek to say Hi. Another one to say Bye. Except that Mike just remembered something he forgot to tell Talinda and turns his head and their lips meet. They blink at each other in a moment of confused silence, then grin sheepishly. And just when they're about to pretend it didn't happen, Chester opens his mouth to joke about it, but Anna is faster and silences him with a peck on his lips. And things progress from there.
