As prosecutor Hwang Si-Mok pensively watched his car’s trunk get weighed down even further by the new avalanche of books he had just unleashed on his increasingly ailing vehicle, he felt himself grow more and more reluctant to actually depart.
He may not have known what happiness felt like, but in that moment he knew that he was decidedly NOT happy.
Si-Mok didn’t know what the textbook definition of friendship was, as he had never had a friend before, but Yeo-Jin was the closest thing to a friend he’d ever have.
The important point was that their relationship was easy. Comfortable. It was home.
And he wasn't ready to leave home yet.Set at the end of Season 2, shortly before Si-Mok's departure from Seoul. Generic fix-it fic.
