Summary
First year of college, eighteenth year being a giant overthinker- Pearl knows there's about a billion ways this can go wrong. Her brother doesn't agree, but what does he know? He's got everything together. He knows his roommate, has all his old friends from last year, and possibly a blooming romance with one of them. But even after Pearl plans out her entire year - and parts of the next three, too - things still keep slipping out of her grasp. At least her new roommate seems friendly, although it's only a matter of time until he gets to know her and gets tired of her constant anxiety and planning and overthinking and- Well, that's fine. She doesn't need him to get through the year. And if she's prepared to be lonely, it won't be too bad. He'll barely notice her, anyways. It's not worth thinking about... right?
