Summary
Red Hood kept his distance from the Bats. They had something akin to a truce, but they always maintained a healthy level of mutual wariness and animosity. None of them knew him, not in any way that mattered, and he was content keeping things that way.
Unfortunately, secrets had a way of coming to light.

Summary
Jason had hoped that by skipping out on Bruce's little rooftop huddle, he'd avoid the drama. No such luck. Now he's got Duke Thomas tearing a hole in his apartment floor and panicking because he just watched Batman hit his foster brother.
Duke expects Jason to be surprised, but Jason isn't. It's an open secret in the batfamily that Batman hurts his kids.

Summary
The last time Dick saw Jason in civvies he was 14, short for his age and all chubby, rosy cheeked enthusiasm. He’s none of those things now - broad shouldered and tall, eyes sunken above hollow cheeks, skin as grey as the granite headstone before him.
No guns or helmet or body armour in sight and Dick is glad for it, but Jason looks strangely diminished without them. If Dick didn’t already know that this was the same person that fearlessly led Batman and Nightwing on a meticulously premeditated gauntlet across the city a fortnight ago, he never would have guessed.
