"Woah, you just got a crazy email, man." He lets out a laugh, turning the phone back to Luffy. "BDSMFinder.com? What the hell is that?"
Oh fuck.
Luffy chuckles nervously. "W-what?" He nabs the phone out of Sanji's hands, clicking on the notification before it disappears. The email opens in front of him, and Luffy's heart drops into his ass.

Summary
After years of his friends harassing him about his love life, or lack of it, Luffy finally learns his ‘type’. Tall, tan, alternative, a little mean to him, with a cold demeanor Luffy suspects is a defensive mechanism, sad eyes and a questionable past. Or, to put it in a lot less words: Law. The trauma surgeon moved here from the North Blue three months ago, and Luffy has been bringing him patients since.
Five years. That’s how long Law has to hold his position at his current hospital to uphold his end of the visa program he’s a part of and be granted New World citizenship. It won’t be easy, Doffy had started applying pressure for him to ‘come home’ before he’d even made his flight, but it will be worth it; Law wants more from his life than a cage disguised as a research lab, and the endless pursuit of his uncles impossible (& insane) dreams of living forever. He wants to actually use his degree- he wants to help people.
Five years. That's how long Law has to last, and then he'll be free to live again. Who knows, maybe he'll be lucky for once in his life, and that cute EMT will still be interested in him.

Law blinked at him. Was this guy crazy?
He continued, "Actually, I really have to pee too. Could I use your bathroom while I'm there, please please please??" His bouncing became more rapid for effect, as he clapped his hands together to hold up to Law in a pleading gesture.
Definitely crazy.
"Sorry, do I know you?". He responded bluntly, because why was a total stranger trying to invite himself inside his apartment to smoke his bong?
OR,
Law is a burnt out med student, who turns to weed to cope. Luffy is a burnt out undergrad, who really just wants to hit Law's bong.

Summary
"Trafalgar Law!" Shachi shouts from the other end of the call, making Law cringe at the way his voice peaked the microphone.
"...Yes?" He asks simply, instant regret forming on his face when Shachi just starts babbling to him- going on about how their finals were already over, but how since now Law's were too, he had no excuse not to come celebrate with them. Tomorrow.
Law found his eye twitching the longer the back and forth went on and begrudgingly agreed to meet them at a bar downtown the following night.
