“Yet,” Suki said, and Brigiding’s eyes widened just enough to make her laugh.
Chrissie jumped in, grinning. “We all call her Gigi. It suits her better.”
Brigiding smiled widely, and Suki—despite herself—felt her facade crack just a little. That smile was warm, kind, and full of chaotic charm. It made her want to look away and stare at the same time.
Chrissie leaned in toward Ivory, eyes sparkling. “I’m Chrissie. My friends call me Viñas… but you can call me Babe.”
Ivory blinked, visibly caught off guard. “I—uh—hi. I’m Ivory. My friends call me Ivory. And also… Ivory.”
