"How are you so dirty?" Tubbo groaned, checking his shirt. Wilbur would have winced at the state of it if he wasn't so damn amused.
"Well, I did get thrown onto the roof earlier. Rolled a bit," Tommy twisted around and Tubbo hissed at the rough scab on Tommy's elbow. "Is my elbow still bleeding? Also, hi Wilbur. I'm Tommy."
"Yes," Wilbur's cheeks hurt from how wide he was smiling. He should have never doubted Tubbo- Techno spoke to Dream a lot, even though they were rivals. This Tommy was everything he and Techno wanted. Wild, bright, a splotch of colour in the dreariness of their lives. Something they could protect. "You are."

Tommy's able to steal other people's powers. His parents don't want him, his school doesn't want him, even his best friend Tubbo has to sneak around just to see him. Nobody wants him, and that's fine- it's fine. He's fine.

Tommy has always been the fighter.
He has never been the fought for, and he knows it, with every whisper Tubbo directs at Ranboo, with every glance thrown his way- Tommy knows, the way he wishes he didn't, that they think he's dead.
If they're so convinced he's still dead, maybe the one good thing left he can do for them is die.

Or, Tommy gets addicted to being dead and thinks that nobody cares about him. The people who very much do try to pull him back from the brink before Dream can't resurrect him anymore.
