What if her passing was not the peaceful release of flowing time, but the violence of a bonfire?
What if, instead of enjoying a long and happy life, she had been ripped away from this world far too soon?… and what if there was a way for her to stand eternally by the Herald’s side? Not as a god and a mortal, but as equals? A perilous and tortuous path that takes millennia to walk, a trap for the unworthy, a test for the especially stubborn?
What if, at the end of that endless path,
she became the sun?–
I started writing this in August 2026. The Nether Queen made me rewrite the whole thing, then Mogra Cookie made me do it again.
Which I suppose is fitting, for a tale about Change.

You wake up screaming into existence, splintering out of a mannequin in a nowhere-place with no name. No memories. No purpose. All you know is, you're strange. And here, things get even stranger.
Still, you’ve got time. Time to wander, to remember, to decide what kind of ENA you even are. You're not alone either. Not the only ENA around. There's Blue and Yellow—always halfway between tears and joy. Then Red and White—equal parts sales pitch and simmering cruelty.
You don’t really know about the other two ENA’s—about what their goals are or what they’re chasing—but you think the three of you make quite the trio.
