Summary
Robby was all too aware of the frequent discrimination that happened to omegas working in the medical field. He'd seen it time and time again, how omegas got sidelined or abused at the hands of staff and patients.
So, when he laid eyes on Dennis Whitaker, a 4th year medical student at The Pitt, he vowed to himself to keep an extra eye out for the omega, making sure he was fitting in alright and wasn't being treated unfairly by others around him. The younger man was incredibly endearing in his own awkward, baby deer type of way.
He couldn't quite help it if his hands wandered a little, gentle pats on the shoulder or touches resting heavy along the omega's nape. It was nothing scandalous. Just a little friendly touch here and there never hurt anyone, right?
He certainly didn't expect his actions to result in Whitaker suddenly having a flash heat, caused entirely by him.

he knows what whitaker wants to say. from what he's seen today, robby is a mess. robby is a man on the edge and it's eminently sensible that an ms4 on his first day of rotation thinks they probably shouldn't do this. if only his survival instincts were a little stronger, if only he knew a little more. if only robby weren't so skilled at this - the chase.
“i don't know,” he says, backtracking, breathless, “i don't know.”
and robby can't resist.
“that's right, whitaker,” he says, “you have no idea what i am.”

robby's been a vampire for twenty-one years. he's been clean for sixteen. and he's had a very bad day.

Summary
AU in which Will receives a secret admirer with a penchant for writing him poetry and slaughtering the innocent in artistic fashions. No one ever told him that courtship was so bloody or appealing -rather, so bloody appealing? He's a part-time bartender that can't catch a break, but at least he has one loyal customer who doesn't seem to mind bouncing from restaurant to bar to restaurant in order to have his favorite drink made by his favorite person.
There couldn't be a correlation though; Dr. Lecter is an upstanding psychiatrist that just likes his drinks served a certain way, and the Chesapeake Ripper keeps sending love letters in the hopes of one day eating him. One is, quite frankly, flattering, the other...
Will isn't stupid enough to tell anyone that it's also equally flattering, albeit horrifying at the same time. It's up for interpretation.
