Summary
“Do you hate me?”
A pause.
“No.”
Another breath.
“Do you love me?”
“…No.”
Vaelar chuckled faintly, and kissed him again. Just once. Light and reverent on the mouth.
Then he tucked the boy against his chest, pulling him close, and whispered words like a benediction, like a vow carved in gold.
“Sweet dreams… my darling Luke.”
And in the moonlight, the King of Myr closed his eyes. While the dead prince slept beside him.

Summary
This was likely the reason he was the only slave in the Temple, yet also why they treated him well. He was a special case, he was a valuable asset. They wanted to control him, and above all, they didn’t want to lose him. So he remained property. But the Jedi didn’t call him a slave—that was not socially accepted in the Inner Rim.
A young Anakin still believes he's a slave in the Jedi Temple. With the Clone Wars raging across the galaxy, there is no chance for anyone to tell him any different.

Summary
Through violence and bloodshed, Donquixote Doflamingo carved out a world of his own making. Now someone is mending the broken toys of Dressrosa with gold — and they did not ask the king of the island for permission. In a land he rules with an iron fist, this small act of rebellion cannot go unchallenged...but for all his schemes and plans, Doflamingo was unprepared to meet the woman behind the gold.
Through dogged determination, Saffron engineered a quiet place for herself in the kingdom of Dressrosa. She is content in her self-imposed isolation, because solitude means safety when you have an ability like hers. Too bad she’s been noticed by the one man who could destroy her hard-won way of life. Mending broken toys seemed an act of mercy. Now Saffron can only hope the king of Dressrosa will show her the same.
(Doflamingo/OC. Explicit content. Unhealthy relationship. Doffy corrupts. This is not a redemption story.)

Summary
In her first life, Nagi learned that if you're too good at your job, you just get more work. In her second life, she's determined not to make the same mistake.
She's got her tea, her fountain pens, and a solid C-average. She’s winning. She’s thriving. She’s completely under the radar. Until she fixes one (1) roster for Kaien Shiba, and suddenly she's being invited to tea with Captain Ukitake.
Jūshirō Ukitake is a kind man. He is a gentle man. He is also a man who has clearly never seen a standardized spreadsheet in his life, and Nagi's professional soul is screaming. If she saves the 13th Division from their own paperwork, she's doomed to a life of importance. But if she doesn't, she might actually die of frustration before a Hollow even gets to her.
Decisions, decisions.
