“Yeah,” she eventually responds. “I do.”
Pomni's boyfriend drags her to a party, gets blackout drunk, and leaves her stranded. Fortunately, his asshole roommate happens to be there too and offers to help her out.

Tras el último espectáculo de Caine, Pomni empieza a sospechar que la absurda normalidad del Circo Digital es solo una fachada. Los colores brillantes, las misiones festivas y la risa inagotable del anfitrión esconden grietas que se abren cada vez más, dejando escapar murmullos y fragmentos de algo perdido.
Jax, siempre protegido tras su cinismo, parece saber más de lo que deja ver. En su mirada se adivinan recuerdos rotos y un miedo que contradice sus burlas. Entre él y Pomni surge una tensión imposible de ignorar: una mezcla de rechazo, complicidad y secretos que nadie se atreve a nombrar.

Summary
After their big argument, Pomni and Jax struggle to be near each other. There is no anger, no hate, only the awareness that they both crossed lines and did things they would regret. So the only solution Pomni landed herself with was to indulge in something she would also regret.
Evil Jax was nothing like Jax, and she both hated and loved that about him. Besides it wouldn't be the first time she got attached to an NPC, just that this time they bonded in ways that allowed her mind to stop hyperfixating on her outburst with Jax.
But what would happen if regular Jax found out about Pomni's newest bad habit?
