Five Years after the war, Ron is tired of chasing down criminals and wants to quit his job as an Auror. His boss (and best mate since they were 11) begs him to help with this last case:
Lucius Malfoy, brutally killed in Azkaban and Narcissa found critically injured in Malfoy Manor after she opened a letter addressed to her son.
More or less reluctantly, Ron agrees to help and gets far more than he bargained for......alternatively: mute art student Draco, his service dog Emma, Muggle London, additional victims of a psychopath running lose, accidental magical bond and too many damn feelings.
