Summary
There wasn’t a puff of smoke. There were no sparkles, not even a ‘pop’ or a ‘poof’ of inrushing air.
One minute, Jiang Cheng: the next, a frog.
A very, very small frog.
Jiang Yanli, trembling, picked it up with gentle fingers. “A-Cheng…?”
The frog emitted a high-pitched, angry squeak.

Summary
The best Jaeger Pilot teams on the Asian seaboard have just transferred to Shanghai Shatterdome to shore up their quickly-crumbling defenses against the Kaiju attacks that are becoming more and more frequent. There's a catch, though - both teams are falling apart at the seams. (Just like Jin Guangyao had hoped.)
In the midst of a war against apocalyptic aliens, interpersonal tensions and romance should be the last things on everyone's minds, and yet Nie Mingjue finds himself constantly having to pull strange triple duty as a therapist, a matchmaker, and the martial leader of the shatterdome full of people who don't seem to understand that there's a war with apocalyptic aliens on ! At least he can stay out of the whole mess and just worry about herding everyone in the right direction to hopefully win the war for humanity's sake.
Lan Xichen, utterly enamored with both the living legend Nie Mingjue and his frighteningly competent strategist, would very much like it if he could get closer to them and learn everything there is to know about the pair. Where better than in the Drift?

Summary
Meng Yao has a problem. His CEO swooped in and rescued him from being overworked, underpaid, and criminally undervalued by dressing down Meng Yao's horrible manager. It was all very satisfying. The problem is that he's incredibly attractive and, not to mention, noble.
And so is his boyfriend.

Nie Mingjue has a problem. He promoted this guy who was doing great work down on the warehouse level--and also had been pitifully eating stale naan outside in sub-zero weather when he first met him. Kind of a kicked puppy vibe.
But the minute he gets into the office, he starts being very competent at everything all of the time. Which wouldn't really be a problem, except for the fact that that's really, really hot. And it's morally dubious and also an incredible HR hassle to date your subordinates.

Lan Xichen has a problem. His boyfriend has hired someone new to help out at his office, which is lovely. Apparently, he's devastatingly attractive and riles Mingjue terribly while he's at work, which is amusing and great for their sex life.
And then he meets him. And he understands.
And this all got a bit more complicated.[Includes art!]
