Violet thought things would get easier for her once she bonded a dragon.
But when Tairn’s mating bond with Sgaeyl apparently requires their riders to consummate a bond of their own, she finds herself in a situation that can only be described as …complicated.
Because Sgaeyl’s rider is none other than Xaden Riorson, the enemy king who murdered her mother.
And when their unconsummated bond leaves them both getting sicker and sicker, Violet and Xaden are left with two options: find another solution, or get very, very comfortable with each other. Fast.
Surely there’s another solution. There has to be… right?

The transition to college is hard enough, but Violet Sorrengail also gets to add "attempting to become a hockey player" on her plate ... as well as avoid Xaden Riorson and his crew, thanks to some sketchy shit that went down with their parents and the (now-closed) University of Aretia. Or so she was always told. But things are never exactly what they seem ...

Summary
