Summary
All her life, Cassandra Dimitrescu has known the rhythm of the hunt. The chase, the screams, the silence that follows. Mortals run, they cry, they beg, they break. Until one doesn't. You don't.
The knife struck the wall with a sharp, defiant thud; close enough to cut the air between you. Your eyes met hers, steady and unflinching, lit with something that wasn’t fear. For the first time in her life, Cassandra forgot how to breathe. For the first time, she hesitated. That hesitation became the beginning.
She started watching you: through the corridors, across candlelit dinners, from behind the rim of her wine glass. You walked the castle like someone who already knew she was doomed, yet dared the devil to prove it.
Curiosity became fascination.
Fascination curdled into obsession.
And obsession, in time, became hunger. In Castle Dimitrescu, where affection tastes like blood and interest is a fatal indulgence, Cassandra finds herself facing a truth far more dangerous than any weapon: she doesn’t want to kill you. She wants to know you. To unravel you.
And if that means losing herself in the process, then so be it.

Summary
“I was thinking,” Grace began, her hands busying themselves with the buttons of Bela’s bodice more to occupy herself than out of necessity. “Why don’t we try something... new tonight?”
Bela’s head tilted slightly at the suggestion, curiosity flickering across her features. “New?” she repeated, drawing out the word. “I do like the sound of new, although I’m afraid you’ll have to be a little more specific, dragă mea.”
Grace groaned quietly, her fingers stilling at the final button.
She should have expected this.
The teasing, the endless amusement Bela found in watching her struggle to find the right words; it was practically a clause written into the unspoken agreement of their relationship. Honestly, Grace wished she had been given the chance to read the terms and conditions before accepting.
“Well, I maybe...” The end of her sentence faded into nothing, too quiet even for herself to properly hear.
Of course, Bela heard enough.
OR
After dinner at Castle Dimitrescu, Grace, tipsy from one too many glasses of wine, suggests that her and Bela try something new in the bedroom.
