Mit dem Auftauchen des Tipani Clans hat niemand gerechnet - auch nicht So'lek.
Der stille Clan bittet die Sarentu um Hilfe - die Krieger zweier Welten sollen sie im Kampf gegen die Himmelsmenschen unterweisen.Während Tamtey Vokan unter ihre Fittiche nimmt, wird So'leks frühere Lehrerin nun zu seiner Schülerin.
Die Gefühle für Rimu, die er längst vergessen zu haben glaubte, haben tiefere Spuren in So'leks Herz hinterlassen als gedacht.Er kämpft um die Momente in Tamteys Nähe, doch das Interesse eines mächtigen Kriegers an der jungen Sarentu hält ihn davon ab, den nächsten Schritt zu gehen.
So'lek, der sich damit quält, Tamtey schon mehrmals nicht beschützt zu haben, wird blind für den Konflikt in ihrem Herzen.
Denn während Tamtey sich auf den Kampf zu konzentrieren versucht, merkt sie, dass sie sich nur einen Krieger an ihrer Seite wünscht - den ersten Na'vi, den sie im TAP am Tag ihres Erwachens gesehen hat.

Ein spielerisches Seilziehen ihrer Herzen beginnt.

Summary
Teylan has spent his life caught between two worlds.

Death is who she is.
After Aha'ri's death, Mercer makes Tamtey his pet project. He trains her to be his personal assassain, for human and Na'vi alike. She suffers in silence, none of the other Sarentu children know about her separate training. Mercer makes sure she never speaks to them again.
Now freed by her old teacher and So'lek, the last of the Trr'ong, from cryostasis, she learns to navigate Pandora. Her time at TAP and training from Mercer left a mark. She struggles to remain present in her life, frequent flashbacks plague her. There is always one person who is there to help: So'lek.
