Inspired by "Operation: Cold Hearts":

“Ever since I saw him, he’s not said a word. Never seen him like that,““Have-have you seen the news?” Judy twiddled her thumbs. She reached in her back pocket to grab her phone. Judy winced and felt like her throat was going to close.
“You don’t have to tell me. You can keep that to yourself. All I know is that you messed him up good. And you best fix it! Immediately." Finnick waved the baseball bat. It swung close to Judy and her ears flattened where it gently grazed it.

What if there was a scene that showed what Finnick said to Judy when Judy went to look for Nick to apologize to him about the interview. Finnick probably was in the know that something was up between the two and saw Nick's feelings were hurt. He willingly told her to go to him.Bookmarked by Saruka

Summary
“AHHH!” Judy screamed as she turned the corner of her door and entered the living room. To her surprise, Nick was no longer locked away in his room. He sat on the couch, reclining carelessly in front of the TV, which he hadn’t bothered to prop onto the stand that Judy had purchased. But that was besides the point because Nick was naked! Or— more accurately, practically naked. He wore nothing but checkered boxers and a pair of fuzzy slippers.
“What are you doing?” Judy yelled, covering her eyes with her left paw.
“Um… watching TV…” Judy couldn’t see Nick’s face, but he sounded confused.
“I can see that,” she grimaced, “but why are you naked?” She peeked out from between the spaces in her paw.
Nick looked down at his boxer-clad body. “I’m not naked, I’m wearing my pajamas.”
“Gah!” Judy huffed in frustration. “You can’t just hang out in our shared spaces only wearing underwear! How would you feel if I did that.” She immediately blushed, realizing the image that she had just put in Nick’s head.

Set after the events of Zootopia 2, Nick and Judy move in together but quickly realize they still have a few differences to work through.
