Summary
A freak hurricane traps Shane, Ilya, Rose, Hayden, and Cliff in a Tampa hotel with nowhere to go, too much alcohol, and one Dungeons & Dragons starter set.
What starts as emergency entertainment quickly turns into a disaster of territorial paladins, suspiciously personal roleplay, increasingly obvious secrets, and the realization that Shane’s seven-year rivalry with Ilya may have been badly miscategorized.
Or: five adults, one hotel room, no flights, and absolutely no one using the game to work through anything.

Inspired by someone, I dont remember who it was so if someone remembers the fic, please tell me. It basically had Shane taking some panadol or something cos he had a headache but he fainted and Ilya found him and thought he tried to overdose

Shane was just getting in the door from his run, an evening ritual that helped his mind settle before bed. As far as he knew, his husband was fine. So why was he screaming?
“Ilya?” Panic bloomed hot in Shane’s veins. “Baby? Where are you?” he called, even as he began climbing the stairs two by two. Ilya’s voice had come from upstairs.
“SHANE!” Ilya again, sounding just as scared.

“Two losses in a row,” Bood shook his head. “That must be a new record for the great Shane Hollander.”
Shane snorted. “Yeah. I have it in our Prenup actually that if we lose three games in a row I get to divorce Ilya and keep everything. So if we lose against Detroit, I’m filing for divorce.”
The team surrounding Shane burst into laughter and continued on with their post game routine, removing gear and taking showers. While Ilya’s world silently fell apart.
Or, Ilya hears Shane joking about divorce and takes it seriously. He does not handle it well.
