“Boss, as well as Mr Banner, Laufeyson, and Strange, are currently sleeping together in Boss’s bedroom,” FRIDAY informs Steve nonchalantly.
“Sleeping together… in Tony’s bed?" Steve repeats hesitantly, unsure if he heard it correctly. "All... four of them?”
“Yes and yes, Mr Rogers.”
“Does... Pepper... know this, FRIDAY?”
“Yes, Ms Potts-Stark is well aware that the four of them were experimenting until well into the night."
“...Experimenting?”
“Yes, Mr Rogers,” the AI confirms calmly. “Extensively experimenting with magic, the Iron Man armour, several varieties of knives, and one Hulk.”
It is at this point that Steve Rogers decides that he does not want to know any further.

Summary
"Lace?" a voice whispers. She almost doesn't hear it over her own rapid heartbeat. She can't make out the figure that it came from, and in her terror, she can't even recognize who the voice belongs to.
When she doesn't respond except for crying even harder, the figure approaches, and a small lantern is lit, illuminating their surroundings.
The murky darkness gives way to familiar surfaces - a desk, a few shelves, a tiny fireplace, a sleeping bag on the floor. Lace knows these things, even as her mind blanks on the actual association she has with them. She sees a blanket thrown to the ground, as if kicked off in sleep.

Hornet's upset expression gives way for a very concerned one. "Did you..." she starts, but doesn't want to say it out loud. "What is the last thing you remember?"
Lace looks up at her, trying to read her face. Her eyes seem to flicker nervously, taking small, shallow breaths. Her gaze wanders to the floor. "I..." She opens her mouth to say something, but it doesn't come out. Then she tries again. "After- after our battle. In the Deep Docks. You won in our duel and I- The Citadel. I went back to the Citadel."
Hornet looks her in the eyes, trying to find a sign, any sign, that this was a joke. A horrible, cruel joke, but just a joke nonetheless. But there is none of Lace's telltale signs when she lies to be found on her face. "You do not... remember our confrontation at the flower field either, then."
