Summary
Kunimitsu finds himself contemplating whether the sudden release of his now cured mother was actually an ill omen. As he plunged into the depths of the icy water, the car careening off the frosted road and his head knocked into something hard enough to have his vision turn into a hazy static like the bygone monochrome films Yae would put on. He found himself cursing whatever public professional didn't diligently clean the prolonging highway and at the same time hoped to the whatever being could answer that he died rather than getting brain damage.
