Summary
When Yuji decided to confess his feelings to Gojo-sensei after his graduation, he didn't expect a rejection. With a broken heart and shame coloring his cheeks, he left for Sendai to lick his wounds in peace, putting distance between himself and his former teacher.
Now, years later, he's assigned a mission with Gojo again - and the worst part is that his feelings only seem to grow stronger. But surely, it doesn't matter since his former teacher doesn't feel the same way, right?

Note: The fic is set as a sort of prequel and explanation of how Yuji and Satoru got together before the events of Accidental Reunion. No need to read part 1 of the series but it's highly encouraged.
