Summary
Viktor reads Jayce's notebook to catch up on the Hextech work he's missed while he's been out sick (a break Jayce has forced him to take) and finds a confession of Jayce's love to a strange, unnamed man. The thought doesn't cross Viktor's mind that it could possibly be him, and so he begins to act a bit strange around Jayce out of pure pining (which he thinks is not mutual).

Summary
Do you ever..." Maybe this wasn't something to talk to Jayce about. Jayce had his own problems, and Viktor didn't want to make them worse.
"Do I ever...?" Jayce prodded.
Viktor took a breath. "How stable are you today?"

Summary
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“If it’s all the same, Jayce,” Viktor says, “I’d really rather not talk more than necessary right now.”
“Oh. Right. Fair.” He frowns, because he still wants that answer. But silence is hard won on a good day, and Jayce is worried. He wants to ask a million questions. How long Viktor had been feeling sick. If it’s just the nausea, or something else, too. If he needs to worry about this kicking him when they’re down, too, because he’s spent the better part of the past two days in the lab with him. Why he hadn’t told him–

Summary
“Viktor?” He prods again gently, wondering if he’s about to huff in frustration and, rolling his eyes, turn to him asking ‘Yes, Jayce?’ But that doesn’t happen. Nothing happens. Viktor’s brows remain drawn, his eyes still and staring, his body curled forward yet rigid. His expression, one Jayce had initially confused with concentration, is wrong. His lips, often drawn into a pout, or bitten pink when Viktor is truly lost in thought, are instead pressed into a thin, pale line.
