Stars shine brighter before their death. Yet Sonic was already considered the brightest star by many, his light always able to vanquish the dark. But this time it wouldn't be enough. The End was here yet he refused to give up, not when he had others counting on him. Consumed by darkness, corruption bit at the edge of his mind and he knew what he had to do. With the death of a star a new one may form, familiarity replaced by uncertainty. Sonic used to be a star, or so he's heard, so why does he find himself lost in the sky, unable to name a single star? He was no longer a bright shining star, but maybe someday he'd find himself among the stars of the sky once again

He grab hold onto that spider thread and claws his way out of that crushing nothingness...to reach his wife, Hinata of House Hyuuga.Broken and driven half mad by all the things he lost and all the memories mostly forgotten from his almost eternal imprisonment with only his slowly deteriorating mind for company, he latches onto his Goddess given soulmate and wife with a ferocity worthy of the strongest Shinobi in the world. Now, if only he can keep his Hinata safe without razing everything to the ground.
