Summary
Locus has always indulged Felix’s little curiosities, his little explorations that sometimes go a little too far, his sexual experiments that don’t always land but Felix delights in. Here, Locus didn’t think much of it, letting Felix trace the shape of Locus’ body with his teeth, letting himself imagine being eaten alive. He was prepared to just fall back asleep, but now Felix has his throat in his maw and Locus freezes.
It’s like befriending a wild animal. You live with it, you feed it, and it lets you scratch its chin sometimes, purrs like something domestic, something without teeth. You get so comfortable with it you let your guard down. You forget that in the end it is just a wild animal, a beast of hunger and survival. You forget that Felix will rip out your throat the first chance he gets.

Sam ripped his eyes away from the sunset to look at his older brother. “What was what like?”
Dean shrugged. “Angel boy’s paradise. If I remember the djinn correctly, everyone’s is different.”
Sam nodded and was quiet for a moment. Dean looked over at him expectantly. “It was, uh, unexpected.”
His eyebrows went up. “Unexpected? What was it like an orgy or something? I thought it’d be Heaven’s battleground shoving a knife into Michael’s stupid face.”
Sam blinked a few times. “No…actually it was pretty simple. More domestic then I thought it would be.”
Dean rolled his eyes. “Details, little brother.”
“It was him…but he was in love.”
