Summary
Yin Yu is about to reply, when there is the sound of someone clearing a throat. Oh, there’s a new customer. Yin Yu quickly mumbles an apology and takes their order, leaving Quan Yizhen alone to finish his coffee. He can, however, not look away from the boy when he leaves with a wave. The warm sunlight from the glass panes seems to light Quan Yizhen’s curls on fire, and Yin Yu looks at the boy’s brilliantly smiling face, and thinks of the red and gold of the maple trees shedding on the street outside.
There is a ridiculous amount of tip left in the jar on the counter when he looks.

“Um.” Kim Dokja winces at his inability to form words like a complete and utter moron, “So, I don’t know you and your circumstances but I can offer to house you for a night?”
While Kim Dokja’s internal screaming has reached a new crescendo, he doesn’t quite manage to take note of the man’s silence, which could be comparable to palpable shock, but he does hear him say, “You… don’t know me?”
Kim Dokja gulps nervously because is the man seriously asking him if Kim Dokja knows that he’s a wanted terrorist?? Kim Dokja shakes his head a few times in quick succession.
Epilogue!AU in which Kim Dokja returns from being constellation-ed without his memories except his name and Yoo Joonghyuk finds him three years later.

Summary
Plato once wrote a ninety-page essay on Socrates’ doctrine on why one should pursue a good life rather than one’s own pleasure. Kim Dokja didn’t read it, but he heard it was full of circular reasoning that really didn’t make any sort of sense. For someone who was lauded as Socrates’ prized student, the man basically made no attempt to justify his conclusion that acting badly and in pursuit of pleasure would make one’s soul diseased.
But maybe the man had a point.
