“You can’t just burst into my home, Sirius.” Remus’s voice quavers, even though he’s trying so hard to keep it even. Sirius can see he’s exhausted, his face pale and his eyes bright atop heavy, tired bruises. He wonders how long it’s been since he properly slept. Not last night, he won't have, but maybe not the night before either, or the night before that.
“Would you have let me in?”
Remus’s silence speaks volumes. Sirius spreads his hands as if in victory.

After a spell gone wrong, the Marauders find themselves to be transported in 1993 where they meet Harry Potter and the Golden Trio while Sirius Black has just escaped from Azkaban.

And there, for the briefest of moments, they touch. The map and the stone. And then comes the unbelievable part, they start to glow, radiant light filling the hallway.
When Harry looked up four boys stood in front of them. The first was a small and chubby boy with fair hair. The second a tall lanky boy with light curls on his head whom he felt bore a familiar air. The third was a pale skinned boy with long black hair who reminded him of someone, who he couldn’t quite place.
But the fourth, oh, the fourth. Harry sucked in a sharp breath because while he couldn’t place the other faces this one stood out. This face he would recognize anywhere, no matter how old it was, no matter where he was. He recognized this face in his own everyday, he recognized it in old pictures, but most of all he recognized it from the mirror of Erised. He knew that face all too well, the face of his father, James Potter.
